Over 120,000 (elementary through high school) students in the jurisdictions of Montgomery County; Prince George’s County and Washington, DC areas come from households that are considered low-income. These students include children of incarcerated parents. These families are working to provide the basic daily necessities; imagine these same families trying to find the additional money needed to buy clothing and school supplies required for their children/students to be fully prepared and equipped to face the challenges in their sphere of socialization and learning. You can assist by volunteering and/or bringing:
Wrapped or unwrapped gifts consisting of coats; hats; gloves; pants; dresses, etc… backpacks, pens, pencils, notebook paper, spiral notebooks, calculators, rulers, binders, composition books, etc. for boys and girls ages 5 through 17

Tamika you are so what Silver springs need I knwo when Live Nation comes to Downtown Silver Spring your hard work and labor. happy belated birthday. I am here in Burtonsville Md.. We are hoping that East County will bring Montgomery College to Burtonsville a satellite educational center for the youth down here who are caught up in a area where if you don't drive or haver bus transportation to outsource you become a product of your diverse enviroment. Right now the youth need more outlets right now, I believe the some Democrates are so use to hearing no they don't understand the concept of "Yes We Can my generation understands it and we will show up in November. #tamikahottopic
