Katie Carr, Neighbor

I grew up in Bowie, MD but have also resided in Crofton, MD and Laurel, MD; I lived with my husband in the Woodland Beach subdivision of Edgewater, MD for 4 years and have recently moved back to Bowie. I have two sons, three cats, and two dogs. I like hiking, football, and hockey; I spend my free time crafting and working on my Cupcake Project, where I take normal, everyday dinners and recreate them in cupcake form.

I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Language from Bowie State University, a Phlebotomy certificate from Montgomery Community College, and more than 10 years of management experience under my belt.

Currently, I work for a non-profit that specializes in drug and alcohol abuse prevention and traffic safety.

In the past I have worked in management at Giant Food and was the District Trainer for Video Warehouse, Inc.  I was also a writer/photography intern for the Bowie Blade-News and the Crofton News-Crier.
