Corporal Decatur Thompson was chosen in January as Prince George's police Officer of the Month for police District III. Here's what the Prince George's Police Department said about Thompson: Corporal Decatur Thompson was on routine patrol Dec. 7 when he stopped a suspicious person who repeatedly provided him with false information. Thompson arrested the suspect for making false statements. But he also observed the suspect had several new car jacks and other new merchandise items.
