Update: Police Say Suspect in College Park Shooting on PCP
The suspect eluded officers six times before being apprehended.
Update, July 6, 4:35 p.m.: Prince George's County Police say the man suspected in Thursday night's shooting in College Park has been charged with six crimes. Andre McKoy, 21, of the 4700 block of Lakeland Road, was charged with: According to PGPD Spokeswoman Julie Parker, McKoy has now been upgraded to good condition at a local hospital. McKoy was on PCP according to his mother, who called 911, and police. i don't have children, but i do have a wonderful mother, and none of her kids has ever used PCP, has ever touched a gun, or has ever stolen a car (let alone a police car). and yet -- shockingly -- nobody has ever "praise[d]" her "for her courage." perhaps if i try to murder law-enforcement officials, my mother will get the praise she deserves.   more ›
