Week Ahead in Weather: Roller Coaster of Temps

Daytime temperatures in Prince George's County will vary widely this week. Be prepared!

There’s going to be quite a spread this week, with daytime temperatures in the upper 80s earlier in the week, and then cooling down some before highs shoot up near 100 degrees by Friday in Prince George's County.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting a high temperature in the upper-80s today, with a 60 percent chance of rain along with thunderstorms. We can also expect winds to gust as fast as 10 mph at times, so tie down the patio furniture.

Tuesday, temperatures will be cooler, with highs around 80 degrees, and clear, sunny skies. At night, temperatures should drop to the high 50s.
