Terps Wear New 'Maryland Pride' Uniforms Against NC State

Under Armour calls the state-themed threads 'heritage on the hardwood.'

Not to be outdone by their football brethren, the University of Maryland men's basketball team will wear new "Maryland Pride" uniforms when they take to the floor Wednesday night against North Carolina State.

Designed by Under Armour, the so-called ArmourLight uniforms feature the distinctive black, yellow, red, and white heraldic colors of the Calverts and Crosslands—better known as the colors of Maryland's flag. The outfits come complete with state-themed shoes.

"This is more than just a uniform," Under Armour said in a press release, "it is Maryland heritage on the hardwood."
