Terps Fall 74-61 Against Duke

Comcast Center court dedicated to former coach Gary Williams.

The University of Maryland had the makings of an upset in last night's game, with Duke University having an unusually poor performance in 3-point shooting, The Diamondback reported.

In the end, the sell-out crowd of 18,000 watched Maryland fall in a 74-61 loss in the Comcast Center, newly dedicated to legendary former coach Gary Williams; meanwhile, the prepared stack of celebratory scrap wood on campus went unburned.
