Greenbelt Labor Day Festival

The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival was started in 1955 as a way of raising funds to build a Youth Center. It has been held every year since by one of the largest all-volunteer organizations in Maryland. 2010 marks the 56th year of the Festival, which will take place from Friday, September 3rd through Monday, September 6th at the Roosevelt Center at 101 Centerway in Greenbelt, MD.

Join your neighbors for a weekend-long celebration including amusement rides, carnival games, live bands and entertainment, food and refreshments, sports and recreation for all ages, art exhibits and activities, talent competitions, the Miss Greenbelt pageant, and the Labor Day Parade.

The Carnival Midway will be open from 6 to 11pm on Friday, 11am to 11pm on Saturday, noon to 11pm on Sunday, and noon to 6pm on Monday. The Labor Day Parade will be on Monday from 10am to noon.
