UMd. President's House Could be Demolished

The University of Maryland's president's house could be demolished and replaced with a University House, where the president and his family would reside and the university could host events, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

The state's Board of Public Works will discuss the agenda item in January. The building does not currently serve as a residence and, according to the agenda, “does not meet current life safety codes," the Business Journal reported.
