Several Terps represented at NCAA Tournaments over the weekend.

Several Terps competed in NCAA Tournaments over the weekend. Here's a summary:

  • The women's basketball team, seeded No. 2, beat Navy 59-44 for the chance to move on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The ladies face No. 7 Louisville at 7 p.m. tonight. Watch on ESPN2 or online at ESPN3.com as the Terps and Cardinals battle for the right to play in the Regional Semifinal.
  • In , senior Ginny Glover earned a school record in the 200 back Saturday (1:54.64) at the 2012 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. She placed 15th in the finals, the top finish for the Terps. Megan Lafferty (48.93) and Carolyn Fittin (50.50) competed in the 100 free, and Jennifer Roberts in the 200 fly (1:59.96). The Terps finished 36th as a team.
  • Junior and now two-time All-American Josh Asper placed sixth at 165 pounds at the wrestling NCAA Championships. The Terps finished the tournament with 15.5 points in 31st place.
