What happens when a carefully planned 85 mile paddle turns out to be 132 miles? When campsites on maps don't really exist? When you wake up and your once dry tent is floating on water? When sudden storms, scorching heat and changing tides require the right gear, creative sources of drinking water and often more than one "Plan B"? Find out as Whit and Joe recount their 7-day trek down the Potomac to raise awareness for keeping pollution out of our river. This promises to be as entertaining as it is informative for anyone interested in paddling and/or understanding the river. See their route, watch some of their videos and read their blogs at our Island to Island Paddle website and then join us on Oct 5th.
