The school’s parking lot will be transformed into a carnival with plenty of activities for the young and the young at heart. Spend a Friday night with the whole family getting stuck on the Velcro wall, racing a friend in the Bungee run, reaching for the stars in the moon bounces, or challenging a neighbor in the inflatable obstacle course. All ages will also enjoy riding around all the attractions on the trackless tram rides. In addition, there will be face painting and delicious food to enjoy. Capping off the carnival theme will be the circus artist on stilts, greeting the crowd and making balloon sculptures. Commemorative shirts and cups will be available to purchase.

“We’re not just celebrating the 80th anniversary of the institution,” said Maria Bovich, principal of Holy Redeemer School. “We’re celebrating the love of community that brought the school to be, and the love that has sustained it over the years. It is only fitting that we do so gathered together, laughing and enjoying our time together as one big family.”

This event is one in a series of events, marking the school’s 80 years of “Excellence in Education with the Power of Faith,” the motto for the school. For more information, please visit http://www.holy-redeemer.org/index.php.
