Two UMD Grads Join Bowie Baysox Staff

Joe Miller and Branden Roth will both serve as full season interns in the baseball team's marketing department.

Two University of Maryland graduates have recently joined the staff of the Bowie Baysox baseball team and will be serving as full season interns in the team’s front office.

UMD grad Joe Miller of Owings will be serving as the Baysox mascot coordinator and marketing intern, according to a press release. He’ll be responsible for booking Louie the mascot’s appearances and assisting the marketing department.

Fellow graduate Branden Roth, a Germantown native, will join Miller in the marketing department where he will work in the newly created position of video production intern. In this position he will produce team-related graphics and video board games. He’ll also direct video game production, according to the release.
