Adopt Foxy Brown Spots

Meet Foxy Brown Spots, everyday sights cause her to stop in her tracks for some serious observation. Rain only amuses her as she trots catching rain drops in her mouth.

For the past three years the Prince George's Animal Shelter has taken in scores of animals who have fallen victim to the economy. Foxy Brown Spot, a 5-year-old American Bulldog mix is the latest of these animals who have been brought to the county’s shelter to be cared for.

After several days at the shelter it was clear that Foxy’s family was not coming to retrieve her and they were never heard from again. Foxy’s first 48 hours were her most difficult. She was confused and terrified, but as the days and weeks went by Foxy has shown the staff a very different side.  She can’t help but show her overwhelming gratitude and joy, usually by hysterically wagging her tail which causes her entire rear end to follow.

Foxy welcomes every opportunity to show her affection but she is extra fond of her walks. Everyday sights cause Foxy to stop in her tracks for some serious observation. She snatches gum balls from the ground, pleasantly surprised each time the fluff explodes in her mouth. Rain only amuses her as she trots catching rain drops in her mouth. Not a stick or tree limb go unnoticed; Foxy carries each one in her soft mouth as though it’s a valued treasure.

Welcome Foxy Brown Spot into your family and she’ll change your life. One look into her intelligent eyes will convince you she is special. Foxy is heartworm free and vaccinations are current. She will do well with a family who will offer her lots of daily exercise; a canine companion would be the icing on her cake.
