Team Perry Poised to Pass Personal Fundraising Record at Relay

The friends and family members of the late College Park city councilman have raised more than $11,000 so far for the Relay for Life.

In 2009, the friends and family members of then-city Councilman Jack Perry formed a team to walk at the Relay for Life in Catonsville.

In the first three years, Team Perry raised more than $30,000 through the event for the American Cancer Society. 2011 marked the team's highest one-year total, raising about $11,500, according to Jack’s son, Sean Perry.
