Save Nine Lives in One: Adopt A Cat

Prince George's County is waiving adoption fees in honor of Adopt-a-Cat Month.

If you're thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, now might be the purr-fect time.

June is National Adopt-a-Cat month, and the Prince George's Animal Management Group (AMG) is celebrating by waiving the fees for adoption, microchip, spaying/neutering and rabies shots, saving new adoptive cat-parents a total of $80.

AMG will also waive the charge of a second cat at the time of the first adoption.
