Republican presidential primary candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul will hold a town hall meeting in College Park Wednesday evening.

The Baltimore Sun reported that this is the latest in a series of college campus events that have drawn big crowds for Paul but have failed thus far to translate into significant support at the polls.

The event is organized in part by ‘Youth for Ron Paul’ (YFP), launched by the campaign in September 2011.

This is the third Maryland visit by presidential candidates in the past week. Newt , and . The visits are ahead of Maryland's primary day, Tuesday, April 3.

More than twice as many voters in the state are Democrats than Republicans, but Maryland GOP Chairman Alex Mooney told WBAL News that he thinks the state is worthy of the recent attention form Republican candidates.

The town hall meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Ritchie Coliseum at the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and Rossborough Lane. Click here for a voucher to enter at 6 p.m. Walkups and general public admission begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.

So, after Gingrich suggested that the way to help Black teens in inner cities is to employ all of them as janitors, it also came out that Ron Paul (R-tinfiolhat) was the publisher of newsletters with racist and other hateful content [link below]. And then there's the bible-thumping nutcase Santorum, who is so far out there that most Americans, even if they like him, would agree he's unelectable. Which leaves Romney, the Etch-A-Sketch flip-flop candidate. If you don't agree with his postions, don't worry... they will change by next week! http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/12/the-story-behind-ron-pauls-racist-newsletters/250338/

I'm going to take a wild guess that you are going to vote for Obama no matter what next election.

The author of the "racist" newsletters you referred to was identified after that article in the Atlantic (which is rife with a number of inaccuracies.) I often share this link with people to show unequivocally that Ron Paul is most certainly not a racist: http://ronpaulracistimpossible.blogspot.com/2011/12/unabridged-even-more-racially-charged.html It would be a bit ironic for the only candidate addressing the failures of the drug war, HUD, inflationary tax, deficit spending and withholding taxes to be a racist. Enough of this nonsense and stop race-baiting. Do your research on the President and you'll see that even a racist would be preferable to a President that has effectively signed away our 4th, 5th and 6th amendment rights.
