Description: Midnight essentially came from an abandoned home -- his previous owners died, and the person charged with his care wasn't doing the best job. Nevertheless, Midnight is very laid back and extremely sweet, said Animal Control Officer Vivian Cooper.

Ideal Environment: Midnight doesn't particularly care for the volume of the other cats in the shelter, and would be happiest in a quiet place where he doesn't have to compete with other, louder cats for attention. He would do well in a quieter home with older children.

Bottom Line: Midnight is a personable cat, and could handle living in the same home as a cat-savvy dog or one or two other cats. That being said, he's probably looking forward to getting out of the shelter so he can get some peace and quiet.

Note: All animals at the College Park Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, and up to date on their vaccines.
