Consent Agenda

The council’s consent agenda includes approval for the College Park Boys and Girls Club to use city fields this spring:

  • Duvall Field, Feb. 1 to June 20
  • Calvert Hills Playground Field, March 1 to June 30
  • Duvall Field, Sundays, March 11 to May 13 for lacrosse games

Action Items

Greenbelt Metro Project

The city will vote on a motion to approve an agreement between the City of College Park and developers for the south core of the Greenbelt Metro Station project. This will, in part, replace an agreement signed in 2005 between developers and the city, which was a conceptual plan for both the north and south cores of the Greenbelt Station development. The north core developers will pursue a new agreement at a later date.

The new agreement includes:

  • A plan for the city to receive $1.25 million for public facilities improvements in north College Park;
  • The possibility of tax increment financing (TIF) for a pedestrian overpass, the location and timeline for which will be addressed at the time of Detailed Site Plan.
