Apply for a College Park UMD Summer Camp Scholarship

Awards of up to $500 are available for programs in art, music, science, engineering, sports, and other interests.

If you're a resident of College Park in grades K-12 (or a parent of one), you may be interested in the city's scholarship program for the University of Maryland's Youth Summer Camps.

The City of College Park has allocated funds for about 35 scholarships up to $500 apiece. UMD offers camps for a wide range of interests, including art, music, science, engineering, sports, and even cybersecurity.

There's a limit of one application per student, and each applicant is only eligible to receive an award for a single camp session.

The deadline to apply is Friday, March 8, 2013. Notifications will be made by March 18.
