Woman, Teens Hide in Closet During Burglary

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

When a burglar broke into the window of a Pikesville home, three residents hid in a closet until the criminal was gone.

At 7:54 p.m. Jan. 3, the residents, a woman and two teens, each about 13 years old, hid inside a closet and called 911, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

Meanwhile, the burglar stole two TVs from the home in the unit block of Pellinore Court in Pikesville, the report states.

He put the TVs into a dark-colored Ford automobile, about year 2000, and drove southbound on Iron Horse Lane.

He is described as a man, 5 foot 6 inches, with a medium build. He wore a dark, hooded sweatshirt, the report states.

Honestly, if you are looking for accurate, unbiased news reporting don't waste your time reading the Patch. I also read that a 'skinny' man robbed an Owings Mills liquor store. Now there is a great description. I'm surprised they aren't afraid of offending skinny people.
