Woman Found Dead in Beltsville Neighborhood Park
Police are treating the incident as a possible homicide.
Police have launched a homicide investigation after a body was discovered Wednesday morning at Beltsville Neighborhood Park, authorities said.
Around 8:38 a.m., a passerby called 911 to report an unresponsive adult female lying on the ground, according to police.
Maryland-National Capital Park Police and Prince George's County EMS responded to the park, where they found a woman with signs of trauma to her upper body.

MNCP and Prince George's County police cooperating in the investigation. The victim's body is set to be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
