Video: Public Safety Town Hall

A panel of student, community and law enforcement leaders addresses the public's safety concerns.

Leaders representing students, the community and law enforcement met on Wednesday, April 6, to discuss safety and ways that students can become more comfortable interacting with police.

The Public Safety Panel was made up of: Student Government Association Senior Vice President Brandon Cuffy, Vice President of Student Affiars Linda Clement, Director of UMd. Public Safety Chief David Mitchell, Dist. 3 City Councilmember Stephanie Stullich, Prince George's Police Dist. 1 Commander Major Hector Velez, President of the Pan-Hellenic Association Marie LaMonica and Sgt. Kenneth Leonard of the UMd. Department of Public Safety.
