Crime Update: A Look at the Past Week of College Park Crime

An update on the crimes that occurred in the last week

College Park has seen a high amount of crime over the past week, and Patch wants to make sure you're updated on all of it. Here is a summary of the major incidents that have occurred:

Armed robbery in ZIPS Dry Cleaner parking lot: Police have leads on the suspects of the Aug. 7 armed robbery, but would not disclose their identities due to the ongoing investigation. However, the police noted that more information should be available to the public early next week.

Berwyn mugging: Police have no new leads regarding a mugging that occurred last Thursday on Berwyn Road and would like to hear from anyone who might have some information on the incident.

On Tuesday, police arrested James Francis Mohler on charges of burglary shortly after he entered a student's Princeton Avenue home. Patch inquired as to whether Mohler's arrest was related to any of the reported of break-ins around the North College Park neighborhood, and the police said they have not found any connection.
