UMd. Police Employees Recognized by Chiefs’ Association of Prince George's

Officers and civilian employees were honored for their accomplishments.

Four Police officers and civilian employees were recognized last week by the Police Chiefs' Association of Prince George's County for their professional achievements.

The award winning employees were also given a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for their service by Congressman Steny Hoyer.

At the ceremony on Thursday, Apaar Singh was recognized as Civilian of the Year; Sgt. Raphael Moss as Investigator of the Year; Sgt. August Kenner as Community Services Officer of the Year; and Cptn. Laura Dyer as Officer of the Year.

Sgt. Paige Miller, not pictured, was also recognized as a Community Services Officer of the Year.
