Two Arrested in On-Campus Burglaries

The two men have been charged with first-degree burglary and theft.

Two men have been arrested and charged in the , the University of Maryland Department of Public Safety has reported.

Devin Lamar Jackson, 21, of Upper Marlboro was arrested on Saturday and Anthony Michael Fields Jr., 19, of Clinton was arrested on Sunday, both without incident, according to the police.

Neither is a student or otherwise affiliated with the university, and both were charged with first-degree burglary and theft.

Police said that property stolen in the burglaries was recovered.

Jackson and Fields have been turned over to the Department of Corrections.
