Police Searching for Suspect in Beltsville Coin Jar Heist

The burglar stole several items from the store including a jar of coins.

Prince George's County police are looking for a man suspected in a commercial burglary in Beltsville Sunday.

According to police, the man pictured in the surveillance image attached to this post, is wanted for a burglary in the 11800 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Police said at 5 p.m. on Sunday, this suspect forced his way into the building and stole several items including a large jar of coins. He then drove away in what police believe is an early 1990’s Buick Skylark.

Detectives believe this suspect has committed additional thefts and burglaries in the Beltsville area.
