Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly pointed a gun at a man walking along the 9600 block of 51st Ave. on Wednesday night.

According to police, the victim was walking along 51st Avenue around 10:30 p.m. when he was approached by two suspects, one of whom produced a black hand gun and pointed it at the victim. The victim took off running to a nearby house, where he called the police, and the suspects fled. No items were stolen from the victim, and he was uninjured. Police do not know whether the victim is a College Park resident.

The case is considered an assault based on the fact that the suspects pointed a gun at the victim, said police spokesperson Cpl. Henry Tippet.
