Police Search for Missing Bladensburg Man

Jimmy Richardson, 71, suffers from dementia. He was last seen Wednesday evening.

The Prince George's County Police Department is searching for a missing Bladensburg man who suffers from dementia.

Seventy-one-year-old Jimmy Richardson, who is not on medication for his condition, was last seen by his neighbor at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at his residence at the 4900 block of 56th Ave. in the unincorporated section of Bladensburg.

Police believe Richardson walked away from the residence, and he has not been seen or heard from since.

Police provide the following description for Richardson:

  • black male with a medium complexion
  • approximately 5 foot 7 inches, 150 pounds
  • black and gray hair
  • last seen wearing a black and gray baseball cap, black sweater, beige shirt, dark gray pants, and black shoes

Anyone with information about Richardson is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section at 301-699-2601.
