Police Investigate Hate Crimes at UMd.

Anti-Semitic messages and a noose were found at two locations on campus.

 

University of Maryland police are investigating two incidents of what they define as bias and hate crimes that occurred on campus, according to several media outlets.

An elevator inside an academic building was vandalized with anti-Semitic messages, and a noose was found in a space being renovated, The Diamondback reported. Since it’s under investigation, police have not released specific information.
