Police Identify Man Who Died After Fight in College Park

Officers reportedly found the victim unresponsive while responding to a domestic dispute call.

Authorities have released the identity the man who reportedly died Saturday night following a fight in College Park.

Mark Anthony Ziegler, 47, of the 9700 block of 52nd Ave. was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to Prince George's County Police.

PGPD units responded to Ziegler's block around 9:20 p.m. Saturday after a report of a domestic dispute, police said.

When the officers arrived, they reportedly found Ziegler unresponsive. He was transported to the hospital but did not survive.

Police said there were no signs of injury to Ziegler and "no immediate cause of death."

Investigators are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
