Updated: Plea Hearing for Williams Scheduled for Feb. 10

The plea hearing for Deandre Ricardo Williams has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 10, in Upper Marlboro, according to Chief Wesley Adams of the Homicide Division of the Prince George's County State's Attorney office.

Though he could not confirm an exact time for the hearing, Adams said it would not occur before 10:30 a.m.

The plea hearing for the man charged in the shooting death of a 22-year-old University of Maryland student last year will be rescheduled.

Deandre Ricardo Williams, 24, of Hyattsville, faces eight charges, including murder and robbery, related to the death of . Williams was scheduled to appear in court Friday, but it's been postponed, and a new date for the hearing has not been set, according to an attorney for the victim's mother.
