PGPD Hosting Car Seat Check Wednesday

The check will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ourisman car dealership on Crain Highway.

Child safety seats can save your child's life in an accident—if installed correctly. After technicians participating in an April 10 car seat check in Oxon Hill found 100 percent of child safety seats were installed incorrectly, the county's police department has decided to host another seat check Wednesday.

Prince George’s County Police, in cooperation with the Prince George’s County Federal Credit Union, are hosting a car seat check at the Ourisman car dealership on Crain Highway in Bowie.
