One Person Hospitalized Following House Fire in Berwyn Heights
Cause of fire under investigation.
A Berwyn Heights resident was transported to a burn unit in fair condition after a fire erupted in her home at the 8500 block of 58th Ave. Sunday afternoon.
About 35 firefighters and medics worked for about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire, according to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS department release. Investigators currently believe the fire was accidental, but the incident is still under investigation, according to the statement.
Two dogs belonging to the resident were missing after the fire, according to the statement.
