Man Gets Life in Prison for 2006 Beltsville Slaying

Fabian Shim of Forestville was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Bowie resident Natosha Lynch.

A Forestville man has been sentenced to life in prison following his conviction in the 2006 Beltsville murder of Natosha Lynch.

Fabian Shim, 47, was found guilty of first- and second-degree murder in Lynch’s 2006 death. Lynch, who shared a child with Shim, was found dead inside the locked guard shack of the Fed Ex facility in Beltsville where she was employed on Nov. 11.

Just prior to her death, Lynch had begun child support proceedings against Shim, according to the state’s attorney’s office.
