Huron Street Fire Results in Injury
One adult was treated on the scene of the fire, which was reported around 2 p.m.
A College Park family is displaced Monday after a fire erupted in their home on Huron Street in the Hollywood section of College Park.
The fire was reported shortly after 2 p.m. on the 5000 block of Huron Street. When firefighters arrived on the scene they reported smoke billowing from the one-story house.
When fire crews entered the house they located a fire in a rear bedroom. The fire was quickly extinguished with no extension to the attic area of the dwelling,

One adult female was treated on the scene by Prince George’s County Fire Department paramedics.
There were no other injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by Prince George’s County Fire Investigators.
