Update: All-Clear Given After Report of Gas Leak on UMd. Campus

Campus officials have given the all-clear after an earlier report of a gas leak near the Computer and Space Science Building.

University of Maryland officials are warning of a natural gas leak in the vicinity of the Computer and Space Science Building.

In a campus-wide alert issued at 2:59 p.m., authorities cautioned the public to avoid the area until an all-clear message is sent. 

Prince George's County Police and fire officials are on the scene.

The building is located between Stadium Drive and Farm Drive east of Byrd Stadium.
