Early Morning Burglary in Old Town Results in No Stolen Property, No Injuries
University of Maryland police reported that a student awoke to an unknown male in the Old Town home early Friday morning.
A student awoke early Friday morning to see a strange man in his home in the Old Town neighborhood of College Park.
According to university police, after awaking at about 4 a.m. the male student confronted the suspect who then ran out of the house on the 7300 block of Hopkins Avenue.
No one was injured, police said, and there was no sign of forced entry. No property was stolen either, according to the press statement.

The student reported the incident to the Prince George’s County Police at 8:30 a.m. County police are conducting an investigation.
