Driver In UMd. Shooting Sentenced To 15 Years

Stephan Weaver was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday.

The man convicted for his role as the driver in the fatal shooting of UMd. student Justin DeSha-Overcash last year was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday, The Washington Post reports.

Stephan E. Weaver, 23, pleaded guilty to attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and using a handgun in a crime of violence when he drove to DeSha-Overcash's off-campus apartment on Jan. 11, 2011 to rob him.
