Arrest Made in College Park Phone Robbery

A Hyattsville-area juvenile was arrested in connection with the cell phone robbery of a University of Maryland student on campus Wednesday, according to a UMD alert.

Detectives began investigating the crime and identified an address in the Hyattsville-area as the possible location of the phone. The detectives recovered several items linking the juvenile to the crime.

The juvenile was later released into the custody of his mother, the alert said.
