Every four years, the Maryland electorate chooses delegates at the presidential conventions. And every four years, nobody knows who most of them are. Rather defeats the purpose of having a convention in the first place—if you don't have any particular confidence in your delegates, you'd be better off replacing the folderol with a computer program.
So, because I am insatiably curious, here are the people running as delegates to the Democratic party convention from the 5th Congressional district. There was nothing involved here but simple Googling. If you want to know about the Republicans, you will have to do the work yourself; they're likely to be pretty obscure.
Party rules, by the way, require direct election of equal numbers of male and female delegates. You get to vote for 6 of each.
