UMd. Student Wins Miss College Park Crown

Morgan Lash, a broadcast journalism major, won $2,100 in scholarship money through the competition.

Morgan Lash, a broadcast journalism major at the , was recently crowned the city's 21st Miss College Park at the recent pageant.

Lash also tied with fellow contestant, Tina Olayimika, for the top interview of the competition.

The pageant, held April 15, was sponsored by the College Park Unit 217, American Legion Auxiliary.

A total of $5,000 in scholarship money was distributed to the 10 participants:
