CALL OUT: How Did You Enjoy 66 Degrees in January?

The 66 degree high on Saturday was just three degrees from the record, according to Underground Weather.

We certainly were spoiled this weekend.

Saturday’s temperature in the area reached a high of 66 degrees, just three degrees off the record, which was set in 1950. It was well above the normal temperature range for Jan. 7, which is 26 to 41 degrees.

It wasn’t quite so warm today, but who’s complaining when it was 51 degrees on a day that reached a maximum of 33 degrees in 2011?

I took advantage of the beautiful weather by going for a run—in shorts and a T-shirt! No multi-layer bundling this weekend.

It looks like we’ll get to enjoy these temperatures for a few more days, with the forecast showing the high temperature ranging from 45 to 58 degrees all week. But there's a chance of rain three days this week, with the greatest chance on Wednesday.
