300 Children Will Receive Coats This Winter

Underprivileged students in Prince George's County will be warm this winter.

Tuesday was a gloomy day for much of Prince George's County, and I'm not just talking about the weather.

All in the same day, former County Executive for his pay-to-play scheming, and a political aide for former Gov. Bob Ehrlich was found guilty of conspiring to suppress the black voter turnout in Prince George's County.

Need a little something to make you proud to be a Prince George's County resident? The county’s Fire/Emergency Medical Services Department, Homeless Education Office and the University of Maryland are working together to provide 300 underprivileged children in the county with coats this winter, through Operation Warm.
