Ms. Doubtfire was an extremely young, but dutiful mom. At first, she seemed uncertain that she was up to the tasking of rearing kittens. Thus, she was given her name. However, she performed a praiseworthy job of raising her young family, probably allowing her babies more time to nurse than necessary. Soon, all of her little ones were placed in homes.
Since that time, in her own kindly way, she befriended a disoriented Maltese Mix Pup, who also spent some time in the College Park Animal shelter. Again, we suspect that her motivation was to ease any misgivings the puppy may have had, in between one home and another.
Now, Ms. Doubtfire is clearly ready to have love return to her, in the way she gives so freely. She is gentle in nature, and deserves a life of caring, beyond the walls of a temporary shelter.
