LOVE HELPING ANIMALS IN NEED?

"WE'RE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD." We need your help.

College Park Day is Saturday, October 27 from 11 AM to 3 PM, at the College Park Community Center, 5051 Pierce Avenue.

Amidst all the colorful dance, crafts, music and food, the Animal Welfare Committee of College Park will be looking for committed volunteers.  Our efforts involve maintaining a shelter location for lost and abandoned animals, mostly cats, who have been found in the City by our Animal Control Officer.

In order to find loving new homes for these companion animals in need, we must also foster, feed, clean for, and sometimes socialize them.  We need your help.

Our main Shelter is located at Davis Hall, near Duvall Field.  We are also partnered with Petco, at 10464 Baltimore Avenue, Beltsville, MD 20705.  There, we have an exciting new display to showcase animals who are ready for an adoptive home.

Interested in helping?  Chat with a dedicated volunteer at our booth on College Park Day.  Or contact Ms. Vivian Cooper, our Animal Control Officer, at (240) 375-3165, or email vcooper@collegeparkmd.gov
