Girl Scout Camp Registration Deadline is Today

College Park girls are lucky: They can celebrate the Girl Scout Centennial birthday right in our city this spring, by participating in the four-day long Girl Scout camp.

Campers will play games, make crafts, sing songs and learn about the 100 years of Girl Scouts.

There are still spots open, according to Maggie Boyden, the scout’s field director for northern Prince George’s County. But the deadline to register is today. Here are the camp details:

• Dates: Monday, April 2 - Thursday, April 5, 2012
• Times: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

• Age: Kindergarten through fifth grade
• Transportation: Free buses leave from and return to: Laurel Elementary, Deerfield Run Elementary, Beltsville Academy, Mall at Prince George's (JC Penny), , Berwyn Heights Elementary
