Participants will enjoy a continental breakfast from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The American Red Cross will provide brief comments, as will other civic and community leaders to speak and provide words of encouragement and motivation to the volunteer participants. Prince George's County Fire/EMS Chief Marc S. Bashoor will also provide comments as the task at hand includes distribution of emergency preparedness and fire safety information throughout the community of Berwyn Heights.
