Celebrate and remember! University of Maryland Veterans past and present will be honored during the Veterans Day Celebration at the Memorial Chapel. The centerpiece of the program are short talks by students, staff, and alumni on their Veteran experience. Rounding out the experience will be patriotic musical selections by the Mighty Sound of Maryland and MannerMusik, an opportunity to walk the garden labyrinth in honor of a Veteran, and a lunch reception.
Sixty-one years ago, the Memorial Chapel was dedicated to pay tribute to the UMD community who gave their lives defending this country.
