Special Workshop – February 18th – “In the World of Politics? Don't Get Mad, Get Wise” - With Sister Jenna
The world of politics is a rich place of change and possibility. Yet once we arrive there, or are in some kind of relationship to its processes, our clarity and conscience are almost automatically challenged by the energies of others there to do the same. This workshop invites all, especially our friends and family
working in the area of government, to increase their capacity to add wisdom and light through times of great challenge.
Sometimes difficult events and the challenging behavior of others may trigger our emotion of anger as we seek to blame someone or something for how we are feeling. Learning how we create our thoughts and feelings in response to situations could be key to understanding our emotion of anger and its many shades, from mild irritation to frustration, to its more severe forms. Come and let's discuss what beliefs we have created inside ourselves over time that enable us to react, rather than respond with this emotion.
All workshops and events at the Museum are free of charge, however, your voluntary, tax-deductible contributions are appreciated.
